I've worn primarily green/citrus scents for years--Hugo Boss Woman, Happy to Be--and was very happy with them. I smelled this first on a scent strip and was intrigued; it had the crispness I like in the greener scents, but also a softness I've missed in my scents, an unexpected light musk richness. I have weird chemistry & most scents are dicey on me, so I tried this half a dozen times before purchasing, and every time I tried it, I found something new to love. I'm 30--well beyond wishing to smell 'cute'--and this fragrance is exactly what I'm growing into, a scent for a sophisticated woman. It's not old, it's not young; it's mature, and equally appropriate with a sweater and jeans or evening wear. The only scent I bother with anymore. I've had great success with the life of the scent--I put it on at 8am and my husband can still smell it on me at bedtime--but I prefer that it be subtle enough that only a person standing next to me smell it; perhaps some who find it short-lived prefer a bolder scent.
I'm thrilled with Lovely. I don't expect to change perfumes again for years. |

| I saw on Oprah the intro of LOVELY with Sarah J. Parker. I ordered and was not disappointed. It's very feminine. It's a light scent, but it does leave one wanting another whiff. The bottle is a little tricky to hold but it's a beautiful bottle. I have worn BEAUTIFUL only by Estee Lauder for years, but am now alternating between LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL. I don't think one would be disappointed. |

Is there anyone who doesn't know the name Sarah Jessica Parker? Okay. Think "Carrie" on TV's enormously successful "Sex and the City." She was the gal who dressed to the nines - always with style and glamour. She brings both of those qualities to her first fragrance, "Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker."
It's a unique, almost indescribable blend of classicism, chic, and innocence. There's not a scent like it with top notes of fresh Mandarin, Bergamot, Lavender, and Apple Martini. Vibrant and warm it's a fragrance that caresses the senses.
Middles notes are Patchouli, tender Paper Whites, and luxe Orchid. These are enhanced by bottom notes of irresistible white amber, sensuous cedar, and the very sultry musk. This is a scent I revel in, and enjoy wearing.
The bottle is, of course, simple and exquisite, curved with polished glass, ultra feminine.
Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker is a beautiful, dreamy yet quite alive fragrance appropriate for every occasion. |
IT'S DELIGHTFUL, IT'S DE-LOVELY!

The fragrance smells wonderful; as always, test it on your skin and let it blend before buying

Here's the facts about any type of fragrance. They don't smell the same on everyone. In fact, one of my favorites always smelled like bubble gum on someone else I knew, while it retained a much deeper, sensuous fragrance on me. I've had my share of bad perfume matches so I caution you to test this (or any product) first.
If you happen to like the way it reacts with your unique biochemistry (as I did) then it is well worth getting. I found it was neither overpowering or an imitation of other fragrances out there. It is mildly noticable but not to the point of bothering people. All the comments I got were very positive.
I hesitate to describe WHAT it will smell like to you because of that whole body chemistry thing but I found it to have light floral overtones with some richer, slightly spicy notes in there as well. I would describe it as primarily floral, with an emphasis on fresh, clean and summery. |
